Why there is no monopoly of iPhone in Indian Smartphone Market?

I have used iPhone 3GS, and iPhone 4. When I purchased my first iPhone from a friend, it was like dream fulfilling for me. From early days, I had a liking for Jobs(even though I didn't know much about him at that time). The user in me I liked phone very much but hacker in me didn't like it much because its perfect example for proprietary OS. iPhone made me to realize the flexibility open source software offers to end user like android offers.

Indians peoples are inclined towards mass either it be in movies or cricket. People don't like a class much. iPhone is classic one. its aesthetic, powerful and simple.

Love:

• Design is excellent.
• Operating is very simple.
• Typing is so easy and perfect.
• Touchscreen is excellent. Any day you can't compare touchscreen of iPhone with any other phone.
• Millions of apps, songs and videos available in the iTunes.

• You can't download anything from internet except photos( You can't steal anything from internet).

But still iPhone is not for tech geeks like me. It restricts you from downloading songs and video from other sites except iTunes.

Hate:

• You need computer for adding each and every song,video to your iPhone. Real catch is you can add files from only one computer. If you wanna add files from another computer you have to remove previously stored contents.
• Bluetooth works only with other iPhone of same iOS version.
• Signal catching is also not good compared to other phones. Where other phone detects weak network, iPhone shows no service.
• You can't Replace battery.You need to go Apple care. 
• Most of the times, it not supports third party chargers and data cables.

As Steve Jobs, repeatedly said he build products for consumers so if your consumer iPhone is the best smartphone. If you want explore hardware part and do some hacking, iPhone is not for you.

Last one: Even though iPhone restricts me from many things, i like using iPhone. Its one of the best creation of human.
